Siskiyou Chapter, NSDAR
Yreka, California
Welcome
The Siskiyou Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on December 16, 1951. Henrietta Wilder Williams (Mrs. Walter Williams) was the chapter’s first regent. The chapter’s name was chosen because of its location in beautiful and diverse Siskiyou County. We are blessed to live here and are proud of its heritage!
We are happy to welcome any woman for membership who is over 18 years of age and who is descended from a man or woman who aided in achieving American independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783. Please note that local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
We would be delighted to help you find your Patriot ancestor! For more information on our chapter, feel free to contact the Siskiyou Chapter Regent, Theo-Alice ‘Mimi’ Pierce. We look forward to meeting you!
