Sacramento Chapter, NSDAR
Sacramento, California
Welcome
The Sacramento Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was established on November 17, 1921, by a group of eighteen women from Sacramento who proudly carry the legacy of American Revolutionary War patriots in their lineage.
As a non-profit and non-political organization, the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution extends a warm invitation to any woman aged 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can demonstrate lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolutionary War. We are honored to assist you in uncovering your Patriot ancestor. We look forward to inspiring connections and shared heritage.

About Us
Most of the Sacramento Chapter, NSDAR, volunteer work is accomplished under a committee system that supports the DAR objectives of education, patriotism, and historic preservation. Our members are from all walks of life, united in supporting NSDAR and its objectives. We heartily support serving soldiers, honoring Patriots, and providing for veterans. Our members are both young and lightly seasoned, with many different talents contributing to our volunteer efforts. We meet once a month, January through May and September through December, and participate in various volunteer activities.
The Sacramento Chapter, NSDAR, is a Bronze Medal Winner of the American Spirit Subscription Contest.
