The Rancho Buena Vista Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is located in North Inland San Diego County, California. Our chapter was organized in 2003 and has close to 100 members who reside in Escondido, San Marcos, Vista, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. Our Daughters are vibrant, dedicated, and active. We support projects for schools, active duty military, veterans, and their families.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political women’s volunteer service organization dedicated to promoting historical preservation, education, and patriotism. Our motto is “God, Home, and Country.”

Our organization is steeped in history. Even though our members come from all walks of life, we share a common bond of tracing our ancestry back to those who helped gain our nation’s independence. We are committed to honoring our nation’s past by serving our communities today.

We actively seek members who wish to make a difference as we support the DAR mission. Our volunteer genealogists are available to assist with proving your lineage to an American Revolutionary War Patriot. For more information, please contact our chapter Regent.
