California State Society

Colonel William Cabell Chapter, NSDAR

Newport Beach, California

Welcome

The Colonel William Cabell Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, was organized in 1950 by Mabel Bowen Boardman with 24 charter members. Today the Colonel William Cabell Chapter, NSDAR, is very active in our community, and we boast over 150 members from Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and neighboring cities.

Our members are active in all three of the National Society’s pillars: historic preservation, through support of sites like Mission San Juan Capistrano; education, through student awards; and patriotism, through programs like Operation Paperback.
