Beverly Hills Chapter, NSDAR
Beverly Hills, California
Welcome
The Beverly Hills Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was organized on March 21, 1928. Mrs. Edmund Locke was the chapter’s first regent. The chapter’s name was chosen because of its location in Beverly Hills. Most members are from the Beverly Hills area; however, some members are from other areas as well, as local residency is not a requirement for membership in any chapter.
A tablet placed by the Beverly Hills Chapter, NSDAR, in 1930 marks the site of a battle between the Native Americans and the early Californians.
