Arrowhead Valley Chapter, NSDAR
Redlands, California
Welcome
For over a century, Arrowhead Valley Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), has served the communities of Inland Southern California, dedicated to historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Founded in 1917, we are one of only eight original California chapters still active today — membership is among the larger chapters in the state!
Our chapter has taken part in local America 250 commemorations, including the planting of a California Sycamore tree at Asistencia San Bernardino de Sena (the Asistencia), a California Historic Landmark, honoring our nation’s past while looking toward its future.
Discover Your Patriot Connection
Do you have a Revolutionary War patriot in your family tree? We welcome women 18 or older to join, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove their lineage to a Patriot of the American Revolution.
Our monthly meetings in Redlands offer a convivial social atmosphere, opportunities to meet interesting, like-minded women, and engaging speakers from across the country. Beyond meetings, members can participate in volunteer projects that positively impact our local and Inland Southern California communities.

About Us
Arrowhead Valley Chapter, NSDAR, is active in communities throughout the Inland Southern California area. We support and recognize our hospitalized and unhoused veterans through U.S. National program efforts, the Jerry L. Pettis Veterans Administration (VA) Healthcare in Loma Linda, March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, and other local and SoCal veterans’ organizations. Our support of active-duty military is through Bob Hope USO at Ontario Airport, among others throughout Southern California. Our chapter provides assistance to DAR-named schools in the east for underserved children. We donate books to the young readers’ rooms at the historic A.K. Smiley and Feldheym Public Libraries, and support promotion of our American flag and values through local essay contests and on Flag Day. We steward our early historic markers in the area and are working on new historic marker opportunities.
Join us and make new friends who share a common interest in making an impact in your community. Enjoy the fellowship of other women who share our historic ties to the founding of our country and wish to make a difference by volunteering our time and talents.
